Will a full slice toast to the top?
The slots are 100mm deep and take bread up to 30mm thick, so there is plenty of room for thick-cut bread, bagels and crumpets. A tall slice from a large loaf can sit a little proud of the top, so its very top edge may toast more lightly.
What fits in the slots?
They are extra-wide, so thick bread, bagels and crumpets fit, not just thin slices.
What are the browning settings?
A variable dial from 1 to 5, from light to dark.
Can I stop it mid-toast?
Yes, there is a mid-cycle cancel button.
How do I get small slices out?
It has a high-lift eject that raises smaller items clear of the slots.
Is it easy to clean, and are the sides hot?
