How many people does it feed?
It holds 1.5 litres. That is a compact slow cooker, best for one person or two rather than a big family batch.
Is there a timer? Does it turn itself off?
No. It is a manual slow cooker with one dial: Off, Low, High and Keep Warm. You set it by hand and you switch it off by hand.
Does the pot lift out?
Yes. The ceramic pot lifts out of the base, so you can take it to the table to serve.
Is the pot dishwasher safe?
Yes. The removable ceramic pot is dishwasher safe.
What are the three settings for?
High to get it going, Low for a long slow cook across the day, and Keep Warm to hold food that is already cooked. Exact times depend on the recipe.
Can I see the food while it is cooking?
Yes. The lid is glass, so you can check on it without lifting the lid and losing the heat.
